PRELIMINARY ADVERTISEMENT. CO BE SOLD, pursuant to an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Canter--117 district, dated the thirtieth day of October, 1874, made in a cause Rhodes v. Rhodes and Others, by Mr. Richard Walton, of Here-ford-street, Christchurch, the person appointed * r the said Court, at his auction rooms, in ereford-street aforesaid, on THURSDAY, the 4th day of FEBRUARY, 1875, at cloven -o'clock in the forenoon, certain freehold and pastoral property, known as the "Ahuriri j&tate," situate at tho Halswel .'river, in the , Lincoln district, Province of Canterbury, in Convenient lots to suit purchasers, and subject &o conditions to be produced at the time of sale. The property comprises—--4673 acres 3 roods 14 perches, or thereabouts, of freehold land; 825 acres of pasturage land, without right of pre-emption; 1156 acres, with right thereon, held under and known as Canterbury Association pre-emp-tive rights; and 60 acres, with improvement pre-emptive right over tho same under Canterbury Waste Lands Regulations, all situate in the Lincoln district of the said Province of Canterbury; together with 1200 mixed sheep and 500 head of mixed cattle depasturing upon the said estate.
