WAIRARAPA PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
A special meeting of. the Committee of the Wairarapa and East Coast Pastoral Association was held in the Club Hotel, Masterton, on the l'ith instant. Present : C. Pharazyn, Esq., President, in the chair ; Messrs. G. Beetham, H. McMaster, B. Boys, D. McMaster, Rev. J. C. Andrew, and Mr." J. G. Kochel; A protest against the decision of the judges in Sheep Class 33, from Mr. S. Vennell, was read. The meeting decided that having been received too late it could not be entertained. A letter was read from the Hon. G-. M. Waterhouse, expressing his high appreciation of the honor conferred on him by the Association in electing him an honorary member under clause i of the rules. The following accounts were presented and passed :—Tho3. Frethy, £7 10s. 5d.; C. W. Hornblow, 65.; T. Braggins, 155.; A. Wilkinson, £1 ; G. Hollard, 10s.; N. Z. Times Co., £1 14s. 6d.; Hastwell, Bannister, and Co., 95.; R. Burrett, £7 2s. 6d.; F. Faber, £lO 14s. 6d.; Wakelin and Payton, £lB 10s. 3d.; O'Meara and Smith, 125.; C. Ticehurst, £1 155.; Woodside Saw Mill, £l4 lis. 6d.; and Mr. Knight, subject to the approval of the sub-committee, £59 15s. The meeting then adjourned.
