The half of Town Section, subdivided into two allotments— Allotment No. I.— Having a frontage of 132 ft. to Bolton-street, and 112 ft. to Wesley-road, on which is erected a Dwelling-house, containing seven rooms, with hall and conservatory,' quite new. The whole of the ground is laid out in a flower gar- ■ den, and contains the choicest flowers and shrubs. Allotment No. 2.—With a frontage of 53ft. to Wesley-road, by a depth of 132 ft., is also in a high state of cultivation, and contains apples and other choice fruit trees now in full bearing. To an admirer of nature, the view from these allotments will be found not to be surpassed in Wellington abutting, as they do, on to the Attorney-General’s property, which, with its artistically laid out lawns and shrubberies, forms an admirable foreground to one of the prettiest coup d’ceils one could wish to meet with anywhere. The property comprises—--4673 acres 3 roods 14 perches, or thereabouts, of freehold laud; 825 acres of pasturage land, without right of preemption; 1156 acres, with right thereon, held under and known as Canterbury Association pre-emp-tive rights; and 60 acres, with improvement pre-emptive right over the same under Canterbury Waste Lands Regulations, all situate in the Lincoln district of the said Province of Canterbury; together with 1200 mixed sheep and 500 head of mixed cattle depasturing upon the said estate.
