BATES, The Standard and Popular actor, who will appear this evening in an original play, entitled : ROSEDALE; or, THE RIFLE BALL ' This play abounds in very fine drama situations and tableaux; it ran a full season at Wallack's, N.Y., when first produced. Mrs. F. M. Bates purchased the sole right of producing it throughout the Southern Hemisphere, and the success attendant upon its production in N.Y. has been so frequently verified in California, Australia, Queensland, &c, that, at a heavy expense, it will be offered to our Wellington patrons this evening.
