The Township is situated at the junction from which the Kailway Lines to Napier, Wanganui, and Poxton radiate, and is within a moderate distance from Palmerston. The land is of the richest quality, consisting of flat bush, and the whole district abounds with the most valuable timber. The township possesses a frontage to the Railway several miles in length. The survey of the sections is well-advanced. Lithographed plans and gazettes, showing contents and positions of sections, will shortly be ready for circulation. JOS. G.
