GEORGE THOMAS has received instructions from the importers to sell by auction, on Wednesday, January 6th, at his New Store, Brandou-street, at 2 o'clock sharp, IS trunks of boots, which will be all opened out and samples exhibited, one day prior to the sale, for the inspection of intending purchasers. The auctioneer would especially invite the attention of the trade to this, the first shipment which has been especially selected for the Wellington market, and which will be followed by othere if sufficient encouragement be received by the vendors.
