Government Notices. PROVINCE OE WELLINGTON. IMPORTANT SALE or ABOUT 25i ACRES OP LAND, UNDER CONTRACT FOR RECLAMATION. R. J. DUNCAN has received instructions from the Provincial Government to offer for sale by public auction, at the Provincial Council Chamber, Wellington, on Monmat, the 21st may of December, 1874, at 12 o’clock Noon — That Valuable Block of Land now under Contract for Reclamation, situated in the City op Wellington, and adjoining The Great Northern Railway Terminus, containing about 251 acres. The block, which will bo offered for sale in one lot, is, by the plan, divided into sections, numbered from one to fifteen inclusive, each section having one or more frontages to public streets, varying in width from 60 to 100 feet, which streets will be formed and metalled, and the footpaths kerbed, at the expense of the Provincial Government. Prom the central position of these sections, and their proximity to the Harbor and Railway Station, they will undoubtedly BECOME THE MOST VALUABLE BUILDING SITES for Business Purposes to be found in the city. The New General Government Buildings will shortly be erected on the land already reclaimed, and adjoining the block under contract for reclamation. Lithographed maps showing the area, position, and street frontages of the sections comprising the block, also printed conditions of sale, can be seen on and after the 18th day of November next, at the Provincial Secretary’s and Provincial Pngineer’s offices, Wellington, also at the office of the auctioneer, and at the following places ; Mr. H.
