Issued under Ordinance intituled “ The Otago Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 1865.” THE NATIONAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND (Limited) has been instructed by the Corporation o£ the town of to invite TENDERS for the whole or any portion of Debentures representing £3OOO, and bearing interest at Six per cent, per annum, payable half-yearly. The Debentures will be payable in twenty years, and will be dated Ist December, 1874. They ■will be for £SO each, and secured on the town rates. The Coupons attached for each half year’s interest will be made payable, free of exchange, at any office of the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) in New Zealand. A minimum price will be fixed before the tenders are opened. Tenders, in accordance with the annexed form, will be received by the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) up to NOON on the 30th NOVEMBER, 1874, and must be addressed “Tender for Invercargill Borough Corporation Loan.” Payment will be required as follows ; —Five per cent, on amount applied for to accompany tender, and balance within fifteen days of acceptance. The Debentures will bear interest from Ist DECEMBER, 1874. Copies of the Ordinance, authorising the Loan, may be seen at the offices of the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited), Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill.
