The barque Anno Melhuish, Captain Davidson, cleared at the Custom* yesterday for Newcastle. She will leave to-day. The Halcione will batten hatches this morning. She will then haul into the stream, preparatory to leaving for London at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. The barque Oneco has entered outwards at thg Customs. She now lies in the stream. The p.s. Manawatu was brought round from the Slip yesterday evening. She is announced to leave for Wanganui oii Monday next, Messrs. McMeckan, Blackwood and Co's fine steamer tfararua. Captain Clark, arrived yesterday morning, from Melbourne via West Coast ports. She left Port Phillip on the evening of the 12th instant, and arrived off Hokitika at 2 on the morning of the 18th, h&Vifig experienced a strong north-east gale On the passage across, Left Hokitika after a stay of nine hours, and arrived off the Grey at 1 p.m. the same day; left again at 4 p.m., and arrived at Nelson shortly after noon on the 19th. Left for Wellington shortly after 6 p.m., arriving alongside Wellington wharf at 6 yesterday morning. The Tararua brings a largo general cargo for this port, but few passengers. She will leave for Melbourne via Southern ports to-morrow, taking away the Suez mail. The s s. Rangatira, Captain Lloyd, arrived early yesterday morning from Napier, where she left at midnight on Wednesday. She had a large passenger list. The Rangatira will leave again for Napier on Monday next. , , The Dutch barque Batavia, with coal, from Sydney to Batavia, was wrecked at Stephen's Island Reef, Torres Strait, about the 2nd ult. The captain, his wife, and the crew were picked up by a ship passing through. , Chinese Shipping, —The brig Lana cleared at Hongkong, for New Zealand, on the 19th of October. The barque Mcdora arrived there on the Bth of October, disabled. ' Port Louis, Mauritious. —The Somerville, for Lyttelton and Dunedin, cleared on the 24th of September, with 521,117 lbs. of sugar for the former, and 103,012 lbs. for the latter port. On the same day the Zelia cleared for Nelson with 317,654 lbs., and Wellington with 424,643 lbs.
