THE THEATRE ROYAL.
A good house assembled at the Theatre Eoyal on Saturday evening, to witness the production, by the Stephenson-Burford company, of “The Streets of London.” The piece is a highly sensational one, and afforded great gratification to the audience. It is needless to mention that the characters of Miriam, and Tom Trumpet, allotted to Miss Stephenson and Mr. Burford respectively, were well impersonated, and that Mr. Hydes’ Gabriel Pennypot was extremely funny. Miss Follande, as Patty Eoselips, played very well, and showed the progress this young lady is undoubtedly making in her profession. The other members of the company acquitted themselves excellently. We anticipate a bumper house to-night, when the extravaganza of “ Ixion” will be produced. s
