Notice is hereby given that there will’be offered for sale by public auction,,at the Provincial Council Chamber, Wellington, on MONDAY, 20th OCTOBER, at 11 o’clock, forenoon, the following valuable PASTORAL, and AGRICULTURAL CROWN LANDS,, Viz--44.000 acres in the Parae Karetu block, adjoining the Eangitikei district. 900 acres in the Waitotara block, north of Wanganui. 4600 acres left bank Wanganui River. A few Town Sections in Palmerston,. Manawatu district. 1720 acres in the Hutt district. 4178 acres in the Mungaroa district, 2500 acres in the Tupurupuru, Rangituman, and Taratahi blocks, Wairarapa district. 43.000 acres in the Akiteo and Pahana blocks, East Coast district. TENDERS will be received at this Office until NOON on Thursday, the 15th day of October, 1874, from persona desirous of obtaining the sole right of Advertising at the ■ various Stations of the following Railways nowopen and to be opened : Wellington and Masterton Railway Auckland and Mercer Railway ; Napier and Waipukurau Railway ; Nelson and Foxhill Railway ; . Picton and Blenheim Railway ; and Brunner Railway.
