HoiiAiiT Town.—Business during the day has been moderately brisk, and - sales of wheat and flour have been made confirming late quotations. In these articles no change ha 3 taken place, and we have simply to record last quotations. Flour rules firm at £l2 10s. to £l3, and wheat sells at ss. Od. There is a good enquiry for sharps at £7 10s. per ton, and for bran at Is. 3d. per bushel. Best quality oats sell at 4s. 3d. For English barley there is no demand, and we hear of no sales having been effected. Potatoes were sold to-day at £1 per ton, a sum which exceeds by 10s. any sale for some time past. Launceston.—Tho markets are still very quiet so far as business is concerned, and advices from Hobart Town report our crisis has affected that market seriously, destroying confidence, and rendering money scarce.
