Public Notices. rpHE COLONIAL BANK OF NEW X ZEALAND. Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the Deed of Settlement of the Colonial Bank of New Zealand, a Special General Meeting of the proprietors of the said Bank will be held at the Masonic Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, on WEDNESDAY, the thirtieth day of SEPTEMBER, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, at two o’clock p.m., for the purpose of electing seven Directors and two Auditors, to be the first Directors and Auditors of the said Bank. And that every proprietor who is possessed of three hundred shares at the least in the capital of the said Bank, and shall become a candidate for the office of Director, must give notice thereof to the Board of Directors, in writing, to be left at the offices of the said Bank, in High Street, Dunedin, aforesaid, thirty days at least before the day of election. And that every person appointed to act as proxy must be a proprietor of the said Bank ; and every proxy must be in writing, under the hand of the proprietor of the shares in respect of which such proxy shall bo given, and delivered to the Secretai'y of the said Bank at least twenty-four hours before the time appointed for the said meeting. Copies of the said Deed of Settlement and proxy forms may be had on application at the office of the said Bank, in High Street, Dunedin, as aforesaid. . By order of the Provisional Directors, vi WM.
