A CORRECTION.

TO,THE EDITOR. Sir, —I observe that your report of the proceedings in bankruptcy, in the matter of John Bead, is incorrect, .in regard to the comments of His Honor the Judge on the bankrupt's transactions with Messrs. Greenfield and Stewart, on whose behalf I was watching the case. The trustee was opposing the bankrupt's application for discharge, and His Honor observed, in making full enquiry, the trustee was adopting a very proper course, but that the result of the investigation into the transactions of the bankrupt with Messrs. Greenfield and Stewart was very different from that anticipated by the trustee. The trustee, also, appeared to be perfectly satisfied.r-I am, &c, T. M. Cluvieb. Wellington, 20th August.
