Thompson is shortly expected to arrive in "Wellington, from Liverpool,.- and Tenderers will be required to state a lump sum per pipe for Xancling, Storing, on the Breastwork or elsewhere, and Freighting to Hokitika. Notice is hereby given that 47,000 acres, more or less, of Crown Lands, divided into Suburban and Rural -Sections; situated in the PARAE-KARETU BLOCK, West Const, and distant ten miles from the township of Marton, Upper Rangitikei, will he sold by public auction, at this office, on or about Ist September. The Parae-Karotu Block, hereafter to he called, “The Township of Hunter,” is easily accessible both from Wanganui and Rangitikei.
