This PAINT readily combines with the TANNIN, and enters freely into the pores of wood, more so than any other paint, rendering it INVALUABLE as a PRIMING COAT or foundation for all other paints. It is being extensively used for STEAMBOATS and IRON VESSELS, preventing rust and the growth of seaweeds.
