This Society is established solely to benefit the working man. No member can hold more than twelve shares, or be entitled to more than one vote. Should a member realise bis shares for six years, his weekly payment per share will be 4s. 5(1. ; but should sickness or some uuforseen accident occur, thereby rendering him incapable of paying that amount, then by giving one week’s notice to the Manager, he is transferred to the eight, ten, or twelve years’ table, thereby reducing bis weekly payment of 4s. sd. to 3s. Sd., or 3s. 3d., or 2s. lid, as the case may be, and by this arrangement the iniquitous system of heavy fines is entirely abolished. Investing members null have to pay the weekly sum of 2s. per share tor eight years, but can at any time realise on shares thus invested, and the whole amount so paid will be placed to then- credit. The great advantage of this u-ill be apparent to all, and members are thus protected against the great loss that usually follows the selling out of invested shares. The fines of this Society will be found far below that of any other similar Society. The Society’s office is opened daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., to receive applications for shares, and every information can be obtained from the Manager.
