In addition to which they have to arrive, per ships Lochard, Loch Tay, Inverallan, and Mail Steamers, thirty-six packages, making, with first shipments, THREE HUNDRED and NINETYSEVEN PACKAGES, being the largest imports of any retail firm to this Province hitherto, J. MoD. & Co wish further to state that their home purchases are made by buyers of experience, thoroughly acquainted with the requirements of the New Zealand trade, from some of the best manufacturing houses in Great Britain and Ireland, thus all intervening profist between buyer and consumer are saved, and a great advantage offered to intending purchasers in addition to the very large variety to select from, thus making it to their advantage to inspect our stock before making their season’s purchases. Por the convenience of country settlers and parties living at a distance, our annual catalogue has been printed ; and to all who have not received it, one will be forwarded on application.
