Howell —On May 25, at his temporary residence, 115, Kent Street North, Sydney, (to which place ho had lately come for tho benefit of his health), Captain John Howell, aged sixty-three years, for over forty years resident at Riverton, Jacob’s River, south end of Middle Island, New Zealand, and brother to Captain William Stevens, of tlio same place, leaving a wife and tinrLeon children to mourn their loss.
