gSjg. H^HE two splendid Ships al£gg|t^ ■*■ reaujrarrived here, viz., JOHN t3^ 3bs TAYLOR will be followed at regular intervals by other firstclass Vessels. The DUKE OF P ORTLAND, an old favorite in the trade, was appointed to sail from London on' the 10th of October, and may.be expected to arrive here, vid Otago, in the iatter part of February next. The Undersigned, in behalf of {their co-ope-rators, the Messrs. Young, take this opportu1 nity of informing the New Zealand Public, that they, the Messrs. Young, have made extensive ' arrangements in England for carrying on the Trade of. these Colonies in the most efficient , manner, as will be seen in the following circular letter : — i " New Zealand Colonists Rooms, 9 Adelphi Terrace, London, 1853.

9 Adelphi Terrace, tionaon, 1000. ■ In reference, to the New Zealand Business hitherto cauied on at the Colonists' Rooms here by me, • in exclusive connection with Messrs. Money Wigram &Sons, I beg to inform you that I have made j arrangements with Messrs. Frederick Young & Co., J of 74 Cornhill, for the purpose of keeping up a regular line of communication between this country i and the various ports in New Zealand. According to the terms of this arrangement, I have transferred to them all my interest and connexion with these Rooms, and agreed that in future they snail be condncted by Mr. Horace Young, Who will represent Messrs. Frederick Young & Co. at this Branch of their Establishment. T have only to add an expression of my hope that the confidence with which you have always treated me in your communications, upon ail subjects relating to the Colonies, may be fully extended to Messrs. Frederick Young &Co., whom you will find always ready, and in my estimation very competent, to afford you any information you may require upon Colonial matters. This vessel will proceed direct to Melbourne, and discharge alongside the Wharf. Cargo will be taken on board with that understanding, and a guarantee given if required.
