w&sg. two splendid Ships al- ] *||l|p -k Veauy arrived here, viz., JOHN v^*^ TAYLOR and NORTHFLEET, will be followed at regular intervals by other firstclass Vessels! Tbe DUKE OF PORTLAND, an old favorite in the trade, was appointed^ ,to sail from London on the 10th of October, and -may be expected to arrive here, vid Otago, in tbe latter part of February next. The Undersigned, in behalf of their co-ope-rators, the Messrs. Young, take this opportunity of informing the New Zealand Public, that they, the Messrs. Young, have made extensive arrangements in England for carrying on the Trade of these Colonies in 'the most efficient manner, as will be seen in the following circular letter : — New Zealand Colonists' Rooms, 9 Adelphi Terrace, London, 1553. In reference to the New Zealand Business hitherto cairied on at the Colonists' Rooms here by me, in exclusive connection with Messrs. ' Money Wigram &Sons, I beg to inform you that I have made arrangements with Messrs. Frederick Young & Co., of 74 Cornhill, for the purpose of keeping up a regular line of com'municatiotv between this country and the various ports in New Zealand. According to the terms of this arrangement, I | have transferred to them all my interest and con- : nexion with these Rooms, and agreed that in future they shall be conducted by, Mr. Horace Young, who will represent Messrs. Frederick Young & Co. at this Branch of their Establishment. I have only to add an expression of my hope that the confidence with which you have always treated me in your communications, upon all subjects relating to the Colonies, may be fully extended to Messrs. Frederick Young &Co., whom' you will find always rendy, and in my estimation very competent, to afford you any information you may require upon Colonial matters.
