The Premises being about to undergo eonsi- r derable alterations, will necessitate,-their being closed for a short period, during ; which time* the business will be carried- on at ©ur present Store, Lambton-quay, where you are respectfully invited to inspect the large importations of varied and well selected Goods, now being landed ex Northfleet, Rajah, and. Mahtoree, which will, we hope, render our already extensive Stock in every particular unexceptionable and complete. Phrenology.
A LECTURE on the above Science will be delivered by Mr. J. H. Williams, Practical and Consulting Phrenologist, from London, on Thursday Evening, January sth, 1854, in the Assembly Room, Barrett's Hotel, Larabton-quay, Wellington. SYLLABUS.
1. The Truth trf the Science proved by incontrovertible Facts — Tbe Anatomy and Physiology of the Skull and Brain. 2. Hydrocephalus, or Water on the Brain. 3. The operation of the soft pulpy mass composing the Brain, upon the hard, bony Skull, producing an alteration in the form of the same. 4. Imperative duty of Parents to understand the Organization of their Children. " Train up a Child in the way he should go, and when he is ■old he will not depart from it." Harmony ol Phrenology wuh the Scriptures. The Lecture will commence at 7 o'clock precisely. Admission Is. each. December 81, 1853.
