In consequence of the fraudulent imitation of Messrs. Lescher & Co.'a label by a Van Diemen's Land manufacturer, a spurious starch has frequently been sold. in the Australian markets to the prejudice of , the genuine, article., The excellency of the original No. 1, as imported by the undersigned, may be inferred from the fact of this number having been awarded to Messrs.
