NEW ZEALAND SPECTATOR AND Cook's Strait Guardian .
The Kaka from Lyttelton has brought intelligence of the arrival at that Port of the Hampshire with English dates to the 10th January. The Hampshire's mail was to be forwarded by the Gwalior which was to leave for Wellington on Thursday. We are indebted to the Lyttelton Times for the summary of English news in our present number. Several changes have been made in the Ministerial arrangement? , as will appear by a comparison between the list received via Sydney, and that now published. Among others we notice that Sir William Molesworth has a seat in the Cabinet.
Th« William Protvse, 14 days from Newcastle, touched at the Heads yesterday, on her way through Cook's Strait to Port Cooper with stock. Her object in looking in, is, we understand, to obtain a supply of hay for the stock. She is chartered by Mr. Sidey, who landed and walked in to Wellington. News had been received in Sydney of the marriage of Louis Napoleon, the new Emperor of the French, with a Spanish lady. The Cheetah, Joyce, master, was to sail from Sydney for Port Cooper four days after the William Prowse.
