Dear Sir, — On the point of separation, after a long voyage, happily under your guidance nearly brought to a safe conclusion, we, the undersigned Cuddy Passengers on board the Rogal Albert, on behalf of ourselves and families, r/ould desire, before parting, to express to you, as Commander, our acknowledgments for, and our sense of, your unvarying kindness and solicitous attention to the comforts of those under yonr charge during the past voyage. In bidding you farewell we have only to add our earnest wish for the successful completion of the Toy age thus far satisfactorily accomplished, and for your health and happiness, and safe return to your family and friends in the land we have left behind. Probably I may visit this part of the world again ; if so, 1 shall be always happy to meet any that I have had the honor of conveying to these colonies, and am sure to hear of their well doing.
