NOTICE.

TTIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR -*"*■ directs it to be notified for general information that the following Lands in the Province of Wellington are open for purchase or selection, under the General Land Regulations of 4th March, 1853 :—: — I

I.—DISTRICT OP WELLINGTON. All the Lands, being Demesne of the Crown, included within the following boundary, namely —a line running from Wainui, on the "West Coast, to the Hutt River, above the confluence of that river and the Mangaroa, thence to the! junction of the Hutt and Pakuratahi rivers, thence to the neare^tepint of the Turalrirai Range, and bj that range to the sea at Cape Turakirai.

2.—DISTRICTS OP RANGITIKI AND TU- j RAKINA. All the Lands, being demesne of the Crown, included within the block purchased from the natives between the Rangitiki river on the South and the Turakina river on the North.

3.—DISTRICT OfVaNGANUI. All the Lands, being Demesne of the Crown, included within die blocks purchased from the natives betweenfche Wangaehu river on the South and the Mowhanau river on the North. Plans and Registers of the above Districts, specifying particularly the sections, or unsurveyed lands, which are Demesne of the Crown therein, will be open for public inspection on and after the 39t^day of March, at the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands in Wellington, and at the Survey office, at Wanganui. By His Excellency's command, Alfred Domett, Civil Secretary.
