IRELAND.
The Criminal Courts were Bitting. The Attorney General applied in the Court of 4 Queen's Bench to have the proceedings arising out of the verdict of the jury in the Sixmile Bridge affair forthwith quashed. After hearing the arguments on both sides, the Bench deferred its judgment A true bill has been found against the editor of the Anglo-Celt newspaper, for a libel on the officers and men of the 31st Eegt. The consecration of Dr. Dixon, as R. C. Archbishop of Armagh, and Primate of all Ireland, took place at Maynooth on the 14th November. A terrific storm occurred in Dublin on the 13th November. The Kingston Railway was inundated, and also the low-lying parts of the city and suburbs.
