Sydney Shipping. Arrivals. November 10 — Schooner Marmora, from Auckland. Nov. 11— H.M. Steam frigate Vulcan, 1750 tons, from England via Melbourne. Nov. 11 — Brig Moa, from Auckland. Departures. November 7 — Schooner Perseverance, for Melbourne ; Same day — Barque Daniel Webster, for Auckland ; 9 — Steamer Formosa, with the English mails via India. Mr. Dundas of S. W. Co. left by her ; 11 — Ship Hathemy for Newcastle, and was to sail immediately she took in stock for Port Cooper. The Gwalior was to leave Sydney for Newcastle on the 17th November, -and maybe expected here in about 10 days. The Marmora and Moa, with full cargoes of Kauri timber and New Zealand produce sold at good prices, were to return to Auckland immediately. H. M. S. Vulcan was to leave Sydney for England on the 18th ult., only calling at the Cape. She is a splendid iron steamer of the following dimensions : — Extreme length 248 feet; breadth of beam, 41 feet ; depth of hold, 26 feet ; the engines work up to 650 horse power. The steam vessels Clarence and Keera had been sold by auction- for jg29,000 and jg10,500 respectively, yielding a clear profit of 100 per cent, on their cost after having been some months in profitable employment out of Sydney. The following .vessels are expected in Sydney from New York via Melbourne : — Revenue, 1000 tons ; Epaminondas, to leave 20bh July ; Magnolia, 22nd July ; Maidstone, 28th July; John Scott, with despatch i Ascutana, 1200, in August.
