THAT Well-known Imported DRAUGHT HORSE . SAMSON. Sampson is a Dark .Bay Horse, stands sixteen hands high, with* strong muscular power, and is allowed to be- one , o^the best draught horses in the colony. t . _ -

Samson will stand at ' Mr. Jenkins' Stables, Lombard Street, every Wednesday and Saturday ; at Mr. Allen's Stables, Aglionby Arms, every Monday ; and at Mr. Hammond's, Porirua Road, the remainder of the week. For the convenience of Mares, Paddocks will be. provided at 3s. per week, but without responsibility. , Terms — Three Pounds each Mare, payable on the~ Ist January, 1853. M. & R. Meeting of the _ Members will be held in the Hall of the Mechanics' Institute, on Friday Evening, the 29th October, to receive the , Report of the Committee, and for other purposes. Agreeable to the Rules, four Members of the Committee retire in rotation, and four others are to be elected in their place; the Members of the 1 Committee so retiring, and who are eligible for re-election, are as follows, viz.', Messrs. G. Edwards, C. R. Carter, E. Stafford, and J. Woodward. The undermentioned names having been duly proposed and seconded, will also be submitted for election, viz., Messrs. R. E. Bannister, F. A.
