This is the commencement of the improvements we alluded to a year ago ; we understand the works now 10 be executed comprise that portion of Lambton Quay, extend, ing from the corner of Willis Street to Wallace’s Hotel, the land in front of which will be sold for building purposes. Tenders for the works will be received at the Colonial Secretary’s office, until the 15th March.
