This Horse was brought from Van Diemen’s Land by Mr. Robert Jillett, in 1850, and from his good temper, and other first-rate qualities, will, there is little doubt, get stock suited to the colony. Samson having been before the Public last season, needs no further comment. Samson will be at the Aglicnby Arms, River Hutt on MONDAYS; at Winteringham’s Stables, Cuba-street, Wellington, on WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS; at Tixall Farm, Porirua Road, the remainder of the week. Terms —Single Mares, £3 each; for two or more Mares belonging to the same person £2 : 10s. each. Good grass paddocks will be provided, if required, at a charge of 2s. 6d. per week each Mare. Will stand at Rowett’s Stables, Lombard-St., every Monday and Wednesday; at Whitewood’s “Rose Inn,” River Hutt, every Tuesday and Thursday. Terms—Single Mares Fifty Shillings each. An allowance made to owners of two or more Mares. All monies to be paid on or before Ist February, 1852. N.B. —When the Horse is not engaged abroad, to stand at Mr. Philips’ Stables, Kai Warra Warra.
