E. Cooper to be clerk and warehousekeeper at Wellington, and of Mr. A. H. Spicer to be clerk and warehousekeeper at Nelson. The following is theamount of the notes in circulation at the office of the Colonial Bank of Issue, on the 10th January, 1852, being the close of the preceding four weeks :— £5 and upwards £ 925 0 0 Under £5 6863 0 0 Total £7788 0 0 Total amount of Coin held at the said office on the same day: Gold £1866 0 0 Silver 1922 0 0 T0ta1.... 3788 0 0 The sum of Four Thousand pounds has been invested in the public funds of England under the warrant of the Governor-iu-Chief through the Commissariat department by arrangements made through the Commissioners of the Treasury.
