To Cover this Season. That well-known imported Draught Horse SAMSON. I his Horse was brought from Van Diemen’s Land by Mr. Robert Jillett, in 1850, and from his good temper, and other first-rate qualities, will, there is little doubt, get stock suited to the colony. Samson having been before the Public last season, needs no further comment. Samson will be at the Aglicnby Arms, River Hutton MONDAYS; at Winteringham’s Stables, Cuba-stree’, Wellington, on WEDNESDAY S and SATURDAYS; at Tixall Farm, Porirua Road, the remainder of the week. Terms—Single Mares, £3 each; for two or more Mares belonging to the same person £2 : 10s. each. Good grass paddocks will be provided, if required, at a charge of 2s. 6d. per week each Mare. Fields Esq. of Van Diemen’s Land, was foaled in 1847, is a dark brown Stallion, stands 15 hands 3 inches high, and is a model of symmetry and strength. Will stand at Rowett’s Stables, Lombard-st., every Monday and Wednesday; at Whitewood’s “ Rose Inn,” River Hutt, every' Tuesday' and Thursday. Terms—Single Mares Fifty Shil’ings each. An allowance made to owners of two or more Mares. All monies to be paid on or before Ist February, 1552. N.B.— When the Horse is not engaged abroad, to stand at Mr. Philips’ Stables, Kai Warra Warra.
