St. Mary’s New Catholic Church, Hill-street. rpHE SOLEMN CONSECRATION of the L above Church by the Catholic Bishop of Wellington, will take place on Sunday, the 7th December. The ceremony of Consecrawill begin at 9 o’clock precisely. The admission of a limited number of persons (who will be supplied with a printed sheet giving an explanation of the Ceremonies used) may be obtained by tickets at a charge of 2s. 6d. each, which can be had at Mr. Lyon’s Store, Lambton Quay ; at Mr. James M’Beth’s, Pipitea, or Old Smith’s, Thorndon Fiat; and at Mrs. Golders, at the Hutt Bridge. After the Consecration about 11 j o’clock, the doors will be thrown open to the Public for High Mass, which will then be celebrated, and a Sermon suitable to the occasion will be preached by the Rev.
