Postponement of Land Sale. MR. JAMES SMITH has been requested to postpone the Sale of TOWN AND COUNTRY LANDS, in consequence of the Wanganui Races, until next month—December. ALLEN, COMMISSION AND GENERAL AGENT, Begs to inform the Inhabitants of 'Wellington and the Neighbouring Settlements that, in order to afford additional accommodation to his patrons, he has erected a new and spacious Building which will be devoted exclusively to the Auction Business : the New Room is lofty, well lighted and ventilated, and the Public may rely upon every attention being shown to any Commission with which they may be pleased to entrust him. THE TERMS, Which Mr. Allen begs to submit, are as follows Five per cent, upon the amount of all Sales under £5O; from £5O to £2OO, two and a half per cent; from £2OO to £5OO, two per cent; above £5OO, one per cent. Parties treated with for Sales upon their own premises, or specially. In addition to the Auction business, Mr. A. attends to the sale of Land, Houses, Cattle, Agricultural and Coast produce, General Merchandize, &c., on Commission. The Public are respectfully requested to observe that Lot Money is not charged by Mr. Allen. Valuations made, Lands Surveyed and Mapped, and Estate Agencies carefully attended to.
