ALLEN, COMMISSION AND GENERAL AGENT, Begs to inform the Inhabitants of Wellington and the Neighbouring Settlements that, in order to afford additional accommodation to his patrons, he has commenced a new and spacious Building which he intends to devote exclusively to the Auction Business: the New Room will be lofty, well lighted and ventilated, and the Public may rely upon every attention being shown to any Commission with which they may be pleased to entrust him. THE TERMS, Which Mr. Allen begs to submit, are as follows Five per cent, upon the amount of all Sales under £5O; from £5O to £2OO, two and a half percent; from £2OO to £5OO, two percent; above £5OO, one per cent. This Horse was brought from Van Diemen’s Land by Mr. Robert Jillett, in 1850, and from his good temper, and other first-rate qualities, will, there is little doubt, get stock suited to the colony. Samson having been before the Public last season, needs no further comment. Samson will be at the Aglionby Arms, River Hutton MONDAYS; at Winteringham’s Stables, Cuba-street, Wellington, on WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS: at Fix Hall Farm, Porirua Road, the remainder of the week. Terms—Single Mares, £3 each; for two or more belonging to the same person £2 : 10s. each. Good grass paddocks will be provided, if required, at a charge of 2s. 6d. per week each Mare.
