[From the Government Gazette, June, 6.] PROCLAMATION. By His Excellency Sir George Gbit, a Knight Commander of the most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chiefii • and over the Islands of New Zealand, and Governor of the Provinces of New Ulster and Nev Munster, and Vice-Admiral of th same, &c., &c., &c. by a Proclamation issuedbj ’ ’ the Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Munster, bearing date fe 21st day of November, 1850, the provision! of an Ordinance of the Legislative Council of New Zealand, No. 5 of Session 8, intituled “ The Slaughter House Ordinance/ were declared to be in force within that tract of country which lies “ between the sea, the Northern boundary line of the Porirua block, and the Turakirai Range, (or the Eastern boundary line of the Port N't cholson block.)” And whereas it has been found expedient to alter the limits within which the aforesai Ordinance shall be in operation: Now therefore, I, the Governor of the Province of New Munster, in pursuance® the powers by the aforesaid Ordinance® me vested, do hereby declare that so n> BC of the Proclamation hereinbefore mention as relates to the extension of the of the afotesaid Ordinance to the vallie s the Upper and Lower Hutt is hereby Given under my hand, andlE p under the Public Seal of the vince of New Munster, ’ n t “ e (L.S.) lands of New Zealand, a^ ove .i| ! ment House, at Wellington . fifth day of June, in the y e3 L Our Lord One thousand hundred and fifty-one.
