[From the Lyttelton Times, May 24.] The present week commenced with holiday making in rare style, in the shape of a pic-nic party on Monday last at Rhodes’ Bay, given by Mr. Templar and our other friends from New South Wales, to a select number of the Canterbury Colonists. Arrangements have been made between the Association and the settlers at Akaroa, for the establishment of a school there, and a schoolmaster has,already proceeded thither.
