THE LEVEE.
Saturday being the anniversary of herM jesty’s birthday, was observed as a & e . n ® j holiday. The 65th regiment was reV,e 1? | a f by Lieut.. Colonel Gold on Thorndon
at twelve o’clock, and a feu de joie fired in honor of the occasion. At one o’clock his Excellency the Governor-in-Chief held a Levee at Government House, which was very numerously attended. A Guard of Honor was drawn up at Government House and the band of the 65th regiment was also in attendance. His Excellency the Lieu-tenant-Governor was present at the Levee ■which was also attended by the following gentlemen:— Hon.Lieut.Col.
