VAN DIEMEN’S LAND.

[From the Bobart Town Advertiser.] Court Martial. —This morning at 11 o clock, at the Military Barracks, a general court martial will assemble for the trial of Lieutenant Bennison, of her Majesty’s 99th regiment, on charges preferred against that officer by Captain Drew. R. N., and Mr. Courtney, Visiting Magistrate at Port Arthur. The case is one which excites no inconsiderable interest, it being, as we have ■heard, the second general court martial that has taken place in this colony. The former was on a Lieutenant of the 63rd regiment, on charges preferred against him for the capture by prisoners of the government biig Cyprus
