We understand that a deputation from the small landed proprietors and working classes of the Hutt District waited upon Sir George Grey yesterday, to request the honor of his presence at a dinner, to be given by them as an expression of their grateful sense of the benefits which he.has conferred upon that district during , his administration of the Government. .It is said that his Excellency has accepted their invitation, and that the dinner is appointed to take place on Thursday next.
