Sir, — Allow me to correct an error, with respect to my proceedings, into which you appear to have fallen. I have not " withdrawn from the Settlers' Constitutional Association," nor have I the slightest intention of doing so. I have simply declined to be a nominal member of their " Corresponding ComTflittee.^'dh tfte ground 'tfiaCaStam abouf to leave Wellington, it will be impossible for me to take an active part in that capacity.
