Earthquakes, which succeeded each other for no fewer than six days, have spread consternation and ruin among the Kabile population on the road from Setrf to Bugia and the Biban. The natives could only save their flocks and raoveables. A strong concussion was felt at Algiers on the 9th February, by which a few buildings were damaged. — Atlas, March 16.
