IRELAND. [From the Morning Chronicle's Correspondent.]

the " nation" kedivivus. Dublin, Thursday Morning, July 26. — In reference to a recent paragraph respecting the revival of the Nation newspaper, I find that the question of are-issue of the " destructive die" was submitted to higher authorities than tbs registering officer —who have finally come to the determination that it is inexpedient to refuse to register Mr. Duffy as proprietor of the new series, or otherwise interfere with his project. Therefore the " new series of the Nation" may be expected on the day announced for its first appearance, the 25 th August next. The registered proprietor is Mr. Duffy ; the securities the same as before. It is said that Mr. Duffy, who will act as chief editor of the " new series of the Nation," has secured the literary services of Mr, Carlisle to fill the place of one of the fugitives of IS4B, now giving vent to his hatred of England through the columns of an American paper. He has also collected in his regular staff of contnbutors many of the smartest writers of prose fiction and patiiotic poetry, who enlivened the papes of the United Irishman, the Felon, and Tribune, newspapers with their lucubrations. Altogether, the new Nation threatens to be another thorn in the side of the Irish government, which Lord Claren* don will hardly suffer to rankle there long, if he should obtain the means of eradicating it. ■Mr. Duffy has ascertained, with a tolerable degree of certainty the lengths he may qo — that, in fact, no Dublin jury will give Mr. Attorney Monaghan a verdict for " felony" for any newspaper publications short of the proclamation of a provisional government.
