AUCKLAND. [From the New Zealander.]

St. John's College. — On Thursday last, his Lordship the Bishop of New Zealand entertained a large party at St. John's, College upon the occasion of the opening of the Hall, which we are given to understand is by far the most magnificent apartment in the Colony. His Excellency the Governor-in-Chief and Lady Gr a y, with upwards of a hundred guests, partook of his Lordship's hospitality, in the shape of an excellent diuner, which was enlivened by various musical performances of the collegians.
