The Barque Fair Tasmaman, from New Zealand, bound for Hobart Town, put into Twofold Bay during the past week with loss of main and mizen mtsts. She had been struck by a heavy sea and thrown on her beam ends, in which position she remained so long that the captain was compelled to order the masts to be cut away. — Sydney Morning Herald, July 30. The Ship Ajax, from Wellington the 12th, arrived at Sydney the 30th July. The Schooner Comet sailed from Sydney on the 27th July for Nelson and Wellington with 700 sheep and five horses, and arrived at Nelson the. 11th August.
