The Piedmontese Gazette of the 17th inst. publishes a decree of Prince Eugene de Savoie Carignan, ordering a levy en masse of all the ablebodied citizens of all the Lombardo-Ve-netian provintes, from 18 to 40 years of age. The Chamber of Deputies had granted the Government its authorisation to collect the taxes during the month of April. The Senate, on the other hand, had voted the law for the mobilisation of the "National Guard. The Milan Gazette of the 15th instant announces that an individual named Legati, in whose house arms and ammunition were found coucealed, had been sentenced to death and executed. General Thurn had addressed a proclamation to the inhabitants of Fiacenza, directing that all the shops and coffee-houses be closed at 9 o'clock, p. m. ; that no person should appear in the streets after that hour ; that nobody should venture to quit the town Without a passport signed by the commander of the place ; that at the first cannon shot or in case ot alarm, the inhabitants should return to their respective homes, and place lights in tbeir windows, after 7 o'clock p.m.;
that every house from which a shot was fired should be sacked, and if resistance were opposed, hurned to the ground, &c. The intelligence from Rome is of the 12th instant. The Executive Committee was said to have ordered the arrest of Cardinal de Angelis, Archbishop of Fermo, under whose aupices a reactionary movement was organizing. According to the Na2ioni of Turin of the 17th, the Roman Ministry had been again changed. M. Manzoni had been appointed Minister of Finance ; M. Calondrelli of V\ ar; and Montecchio of Public Works. Colonel Marpscotti and his regiment in garrison at Ferrara had refused to take the oath to the Roman Government. Tranquillity prevailed at Venice on the 9th instant.
