FIFTY POUNDS REWARD.
Colonial Secretary's Office, Wellington, 23rd March, 1849. WHEREAS, information has been received that a Settler named John Branks, residing on the Porirua Road, was, together with his three children, barbarously murdered on the night of Thursday last by some person or persons unknown. Notice is hereby given, that a reward of Fifty Pounds will be paid to any one who shall give'sucn information to the as shall, lead to the apprehension and of the murderer or murderers.
