'FTtHE RACES will take place on Buknham JL Water Course as follows: — - On Monday, 29th January, To start at half -past Eleven, A Purse of £30, added to a Sweepstakes of Two Guineas each. Heats, twice round the Course, over hurdles 3 feet 9 inches high— six ;leaps in each heat — open to all horses. Weights, 4. yearold, 10 stone 7lb.; s years, 11 stone; 6ydarsand aged, 11 stone 71b. Second horse to save his stakes.

To start at half-past One, The Produce Cup, value 50 Guineas, to be run for by the 4 year- old produce of '-Ether or Riddlexworth. Entrance Two Guineas each. -To start from South end of the Course— once round and in. Weights, 10 stone — Heats, tinree to start or no race^

To start at half-past Two,

Burnham Water Stakes, value £25, added to a Sweepstakes of Two Guineas each. Heats, twice round the Course — open to all horses. Weights, 6 year-old and aged, 10 stone 7 lb.; 5 years, 10 stone ; 4 years, 9 stone 71b ; 3 years, 8 stone 71b- Second horse to save his stakes.

On Tuesday, 30th January.

To start at half past Eleven. Beaten Stakes, for all Horses that hare started and not won in the Hurdle Race of; the first day — subject to the same conditions and weights as for the Hurdle Race. Entrance £1. Stakes £ . Two to start or no race. To start at half past Twelve. > • The Ladies Purse of £25, added to a Sweepstakes of Two Guineas each — Gentlemen riders — heats, twice round the Course. Weights, 6 year-old and aged, 12 stone: 5 years, 11 stone 7<lb. ; 4 years, 11 stone ; 3 years, 10 stone. To start at half past One. The Licensed Victuallers Purse of £20, ! added' to a Sweepstakes of One Guinea each. \ Heats, twice round the Course — Catch Weights. To start at half past Two. Beaten -Stakes, for all Horses that have start- ! ed and not won in the Flat Race of the firstday. Entrance £1. £ . Subject to the same conditions and weights as for the flat raee — two to start or no race.

In all races (where not above enumerated,) three horses to start, or the puhlic money will not be given. There will be a distance post. There will be no distance post in the Hurdle ' Race. In all races Mares and Geldings allowed 31b. Thorough-bred horses to carry 71b. extra. All disputes to be -settled by the Stewards, and their decision to be final. Objections to the age of horses, &c, to be made and disposed of previous to the races, and a written notice thereof to be given to the Stewards, or the Clerk of the Course, at least one hour previous to the hour fixed for starting. Thirty minutes between the heats. A Bell will be rung at the end of twenty minutes for saddling, and the start will take place punctually at the half hour. Weights and Scales will be piovided on the Course. All Dogs running at large on the Course will be destroyed. Parties wishing to erect Booths, must do so under the direction of the Clerk of the Course. ;Fee£2. . - All entrances to he made from § past 7 to 9 o'clock on Thursday evening, 25th instant, at Barretf's Hotel. Anniversary Ball.

THE Sports to terminate with the Anniversary Ball and Supper, which will take place on Wednesday evening, January 24th, at the Britannia Saloon, under a Committee of Management , Tickets 7s. 6d. to admit a Lady and Gentleman. — To be had ,6f the following Gentlemen, . who have been appointed as Stewards :— Major Baker, Messrs.'D.
