Hurdle Race, for the beaten horses, to start at 1 o'clock precisely. Prize £6, entrances added ; conditions same as previous day ; entrance £l : 1 ; second horse to save his stakes. Hack Race, for the beaten horses, to start after the Hurdle Race. Prize £4, entrances added ; conditions same as previous day ; entrance £l : 1 ; second horse to save his stakes . Settlers' Cart-horse Race, for beaten horses, to start after the Hack Race. Prize £2 : 10, entrances added; entrances ss. ; second horse to save his stakes. Maori Horse Race, for beaten Horses. Prize ;£l : 10, entrance 55.; entrances added; second horse to save his stakes.

Entries for the Beaten Stakes to be made at Mr * Allens Commercial Rooms, betweeen 8 and 9 o'clock, on Monday night. The MAORI WAR DANCE will take place on Tuesday, after the Races, within the enclosed acre adjoining the House of W. Hickson, Esq., under the superintendance of Richard Deighton and David Scott, Esqs , who have kindly consented to act as Masters of the Ceremonies on this occasion. All disputes to be settled by the various Subcommittees, whose decision shall be final. Any objections that may be made must be lodged in writing with the Committee at least one hour before the appointed time of starting for any race. The winners of the various prizes, and parties having claims for expenses incurred, to attend at Mr. Allens Commercial Rooms, Te Aro, on Thursday, January 25th, at 1 p.m. W. B. Rhoees, Treasurer. Heats, twice round the Course, over hurdles 3 feet 9 inches high — six leaps in each heat — open to all horses. Weights, 4 yearold, 10 stone 71b.: 5 years, 11 stone ; 6 years and aged, 11 stone 71b.
